I truly appreciated the detailes of the room, very beautifully decorated. Nice & friendly service, except the personel on the outdoor terrace, which I found a bit less professional and less friendly. The terrace needs a refresh.

I was celebrating a milestone birthday and needed a luxurious lakeside retreat in Lausanne with a world-class spa , somewhere I could truly unwind rather than simply sightsee. I wanted to spend as much time as possible within the property itself, and this Beau-Rivage Palace delivered on every level. The hotel itself is stunning, the photos simply don't do it justice. You have to experience it for yourself. The location is simply fantastic. But beyond that, I can't begin to express how extraordinary this hotel is. Whatever training they provide to their staff, every hospitality establishment should follow their lead. I received a massage at the Guerlain Spa and it was absolutely wonderful. I also spent a great deal of time at the terrace restaurant, where the service was consistently warm and attentive. The small touches meant everything , after each cleaning, they left a little chocolate in the room, and for my birthday, they surprised me with a card and a lovely dessert. Truly thoughtful gestures. One thing worth noting: during my stay, a large conference was being held on the property, which brought in a significant amount of outside security personnel. A few of them were somewhat brusque with me as I was finding my way around, but I want to be clear that they were not hotel staff, and it didn't detract much from my experience overall. Just something to be aware of, as the hotel does host major events. The hotel also has Michelin-starred restaurants on site, which I didn't get to try, along with a breakfast service , though I'm firmly of the belief that vacations and early mornings don't mix! The bed was supremely comfortable, and the room was beautifully soundproofed with blackout blinds, making it easy to sleep in and truly rest. I adored my stay and will absolutely make it a tradition to a few times per year when in Lausanne.

This is a grand old palace style hotel but it's very well kept and up to date, oddly the lobby is less impressive than the actual rooms. The hallways are all lovely and very smart. This is a grand old palace style hotel but it's very well kept and up to date, oddly the lobby is less impressive than the actual rooms. The hallways are all lovely and very smart. It is just across the road from the lake and a subway stop, ten minters down the hill in a car from the small town. it was very clean and quiet and the serve as fine. The spa is pretty and the gym is fine, small but fine. Breakfast had a good variety and very fresh but the room itself is not a wow.

“Solo trip Lausanne”

Thanks a lot for the amazing stay! The following things: during Turndown Service the bin was not emptied and the amenities not in the bathroom not organized. During check- in was not mentioned where the breakfast takes place. The rest of my stay was wonderful, thanks a lot!
