“Perfect stay in porto”

Can’t fault this hotel at all! All staff we encountered were really friendly and helpful. The room was a good size for 2 people. Extremely clean with fresh towels and linens. Location is perfect - easy to walk to all tourist attractions. Didn’t need to get an uber/bolt anywhere. Pool area is small… more

Can’t fault this hotel at all! All staff we encountered were really friendly and helpful. The room was a good size for 2 people. Extremely clean with fresh towels and linens. Location is perfect - easy to walk to all tourist attractions. Didn’t need to get an uber/bolt anywhere. Pool area is small with only 6 loungers but didn’t bother us. We still used the pool after long days of sightseeing. Highly recommend.

“Heck of a hike to the hotel from the river”

Firstly let me say the staff were all outstanding! We’d booked a premium room on b&b basis. Room itself was nice and was more or less over reception and looking into street but not a particularly pleasant street and very noisy at night, even with windows closed! Dogs barking outside and lots of ‘people’ noise. Storage in room is very limited, no drawers! Luckily we’d taken extra coat hangers, the wardrobe hanging area is short too. Breakfast very good. Rooftop bar nice with lovely staff; entertainment was dull unfortunately. Pool very small with only six sunbeds. In our opinion this hotel wasn’t centrally located, it’s at the top end of the historical area and whilst the major sites are all within walking distance ‘below’ the hotel; it’s a heck of a climb back up to the hotel! Approx from hotel to river about a 30 minute walk downhill! Taxi from airport - hotel in rush hour was 40 euros; taxi from hotel to airport on Sunday lunchtime (when roads quiet) 30 euros!

“Relaxing Stay in the Heart of Porto - Highly Recommend”

Staff are really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel is fresh, clean, quiet, calm. The facilities are great: bonus it has a roof top terrace with pool. The breakfast is delicious with plenty of fresh and healthy options available. Highly recommended!

My daughter and I stayed at Hotel Vincci Bonjardim during a recent trip to Porto. The hotel was very clean and the staff were great. Breakfast was also fabulous - a great selection of fresh food and drinks - even mimosas were available! The roof top terrace was lovely, the downside being that there are only 6 sun loungers - they seemed to be permanently taken so we didn’t manage to get access to one during our stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable but there is a distinct lack of storage. There is a wardrobe with a few hangers but there were absolutely no drawers or shelves at all in the room, meaning many of our clothes had to stay in the suitcases (I never feel very relaxed if i can’t fully unpack). I also feel the room would benefit from a mirror above the desk/dressing table. When one of us was in the bathroom the only place the other one could do make up was sitting on the floor in the main room to use the full length mirror. There also needs to be a plug socket next to the full length mirror. The final thing was we couldn’t set the air-con to go below 21 degrees, we reported this to reception who instructed the maintenance team to take a look but it was never fixed. All in all we had a good stay, but I don’t think I could have stayed longer than 3 nights given the lack of storage, mirrors and plug sockets.
