We arrived at the hotel in morning 25/6. My first feeling was that it doesn't look so modern from the outside. We were met at reception by either DIMITRIS, OR AGAPI or Giannis who checked our baggage in until the rooms would be ready. They showed us the lounge area and from here we knew were in ultra modern hotel. We ordered soft drinks which promptly arrived by smiling waitress who advised us they were on the house. We left to see the surrounding area and when we returned the charming Alexandra at reception advised us that rooms were ready and took the space age elevator to our floors. Alexandra helped us often during our stay always with a smile. The rooms were spotlessly clean,the twin bed mattress was heavenly comfortable as were the pillows. Air conditioner fantastic and shower was great with clean fluffy towels. 2 complimentary bottles of mineral water were provided each morning. The A La Carte breakfast was fresh, varied, tasty and you could order as much as you want and arrived it promptly. Location, Atmosphere, Rooms, Value, Noise level, Service, Amenities all top marks. Would I return ... definitely but earlier in year when not so hot. I definitely will recommend The Vanoro Hotel to my friends.

“Excellent value, very comfortable stay.”

Good location for accessing central sites by foot. Welcoming atmosphere. Professional and polite staff. Excellent breakfast. Spotless, well equipped rooms, comfortable beds and roomy bathroom. Good soundproofing.

I had a generally pleasant four-night stay at this hotel. The bed was very comfortable, and I really enjoyed the à la carte, all-day breakfast. The location is also convenient, with plenty of cafés nearby and easy access to the Ladadika district. The room was clean and nicely decorated, although the floor could have been vacuumed more thoroughly. Unfortunately, my stay started with a few issues that affected my overall experience. I had booked a refundable rate directly with the hotel, but the day before my arrival they contacted me claiming that I had given them incorrect credit card details because they were unable to charge the card. I knew this wasn’t the case. Within the EU, strong customer authentication (SCA) is required for most online credit card transactions over €30, meaning that a charge cannot go through without my approval. This is typically handled at the booking stage if the hotel uses a proper system. After I asked for clarification, they sent me a secure payment link, and I was able to complete the payment using SCA. While the issue was resolved, I found the situation unusual, especially considering that the hotel likely receives many EU guests. For this reason, I would recommend booking through a reliable third-party platform such as Booking.com rather than directly with the hotel. Another issue occurred upon arrival when the staff kindly brought my luggage to my room, but one of my bags was missing. It turned out that it had been mistakenly delivered to another guest’s room. I did get it back quickly, but the situation was unsettling. On top of that, the door lock in my room wasn’t working due to a battery issue. This was fixed promptly once I reported it, but it seems like something that should have been noticed beforehand by housekeeping or staff. Overall, while there are several positive aspects to this hotel, the issues at the beginning of my stay and the lack of attention to detail slightly diminished the overall experience.
