“Perfect location for exploring Annecy on foot”

The location of this hotel is difficult to beat. You step outside directly into the heart of Annecy’s beautiful old town, so almost everything we wanted to see was within easy walking distance. Our room was fairly small but comfortable enough for our stay, with good air conditioning. One consequence of such a central location is that the surrounding area remains lively into the evening, so there can be some noise at night. We were travelling with our dog and really appreciated that the hotel is dog-friendly. Dogs aren’t permitted in the breakfast area, although there are plenty of good dog-friendly cafés nearby, so we simply had breakfast elsewhere. If arriving by car, be prepared: parking close to the hotel is difficult and getting luggage from the car to the hotel isn’t particularly convenient. However, once checked in, we didn’t need the car to explore Annecy. The young lady who welcomed us at check-in deserves a particular mention — friendly, helpful and genuinely welcoming. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and an excellent base for experiencing Annecy on foot.

This hotel has a fantastic location right where you want to be, with a charming, rustic feel . “Cute Hotel in a Great Location”

I have just come back from a two night stay here with my daughter. The hotel is in a brilliant location, perfect for visiting Annecy and right next to the canal. Our room was adequate for us with a comfy bed. The bathroom was fine, although the toilet was separate and tiny. Okay for us but not sure… more

I have just come back from a two night stay here with my daughter. The hotel is in a brilliant location, perfect for visiting Annecy and right next to the canal. Our room was adequate for us with a comfy bed. The bathroom was fine, although the toilet was separate and tiny. Okay for us but not sure about people with long legs! The bath was small too. There is a tiny lift but still stairs to navigate so I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for the less able. After 9pm you have to use your key to get into the hotel main door. Check it works as ours stopped working during our stay and we had to get a new one. Breakfast was good and we were greeted by happy staff who were lovely. In fact, all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.
