What an amazing stay we had, was here for four nights as part of our French vacation. Only three minutes from the train station and five to ten for the amazing sights, food and wine of Annecy. We had a lovely warm welcome on check in, complete with a bottle of champagne which was totally unexpected but very much appreciated. Our room had everything we needed, lovely comfortable bed, excellent bedding and pillows which guaranteed a peaceful nights sleep. Bathroom nice size, nice shower, the frosted doors didn't bother us it was still private enough. I would recommend a balcony room, just so nice to sit outside and have a coffee or wine Breakfast is table service, breads, cheese, cereals everything you need to start the day. Nice bar area, which we used every evening prior to going out. And not forgetting to thank the staff from the lovely ladies serving breakfast, and the so polite and helpful guys and gals that worked reception throughout the day, and the lady that cleaned our room immaculately everyday. To touch on some of the less positive comments I read on the reviews, it isn't a hotel just for young people its for any age, and we never heard any noise, outside or inside Wonderful place to stay in wonderful Annecy, thank you

I had the most amazing experience staying at Hébé Hotel in Annecy. The hotel is location just 2-3 minutes away by foot from Gare which was super convenient. Also, it’s located 10 minutes away by foot to the lake so the location is perfect. We informed them while booking that we would be graduating soon and so this is our graduation trip, for which they upgraded us to a room with a balcony and also left a small personalised note for us in the room which was very sweet of them. The Reception team was extremely warm and hospitable. I had forgotten to bring the correct adapter and so when I went to the front office team at night, they helped me with utmost patience and lent me an adapter for the night. It might be a small detail but meant a lot to me. The only one tiny problem that I faced was that the bathroom door in the rooms are transparent and don’t close completely. It would’ve been amazing if the closed at least all the way. This could be a small problem if e.g. you’re travelling with a friend like in my case.

“A very good short-stay base in Annecy, with a spacious and quiet room”

My wife and I stayed for three nights at Hébé Hotel in July 2026, and overall this was a very good 4/5 stay. The hotel worked especially well as a practical base for Annecy, with an easy walk to the old town, restaurants and the main sights, while also being very convenient for the railway station. We stayed in Chambre Spacieuse no. 601 on the top floor. The room was one of the strongest parts of the stay: spacious, modern, very clean and facing the back of the hotel, which made it impressively quiet. The wide double bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well, which mattered during the 30–35°C heat. My photos give a fair impression of the room: modern, calm and with enough space to feel comfortable for a few nights. The bathroom was also large and well presented, although the big sliding glass door looked better than it worked in practice, especially when it came to privacy. The location was very practical. The hotel does not have its own parking, but there is a nearby parking garage around 100 metres away, and with the hotel discount card I paid around €5–7 per day. There is also a short-stop space outside the reception for loading and unloading luggage, which was useful. Breakfast was a small boutique-style continental breakfast rather than a large hotel buffet. It was fine for one or two mornings, but after three nights it became a little repetitive, with no hot dishes. The dining area itself is stylish, as shown in my photos. The Wi-Fi was excellent — fast, stable and much better than in many hotels. My speed test showed around 248 Mbps download and 195 Mbps upload, which we really appreciated. What could be improved: The hotel has very limited common areas, and we missed having somewhere pleasant to sit outside the room. The bar selection is also limited, and the service, while friendly and helpful, lacked the small personal passion that separates the very best hotels from the next-best ones. Final verdict: A strong 4/5 hotel for a short city stay in Annecy. The room, location, cleanliness, quietness and Wi-Fi were the main positives, while the limited shared spaces and simple breakfast keep it just below the top level. If you go: Ask for a quiet room facing the back, and choose a Chambre Spacieuse if available. For a 1–3 night stay as a couple, this hotel works very well.
