Good location. Close to shops, restaurants, 30 min from the airport, 10 min walking distance to the beach. Good relaxing atmosphere, friendly people around, same as staff in the hotel. Everyone was nice and helpful. Nice, clean and spacious rooms. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Ceiling fans to cool you down. Free safe. TV to rent for extra charge. Large swimming pool, smaller one for kiddies and many sunbeds. Value? Yes, Definitely worth it but I wouldn't recommend all inclusive as the food was absolutely disgusting and we ended up eating out every day. Drinks were good though. Even though the area is quite busy, it wasn't very loud there. Sometimes some drunk people were passing by to their rooms but nothing that would bother anyone. We went after the summer holidays so it wasn't crazy busy (luckily) , not too many people around, and the weather was still good. Just perfect! Everything was great - except hotel food. Would I recommend? Yes. Would I come back? Yes.

I have to be honest when i read the reviews leading upto my holiday i had second thoughts, i was ready to change my hotel. I have to be honest when i read the reviews leading upto my holiday i had second thoughts, i was ready to change my hotel. I do believe that a lot of these reviews are unfair, esp considering the rating of the hotel, i mean pay more if you expect more because you’re getting what you pay for here. Admittedly upon arrival i was ready to go home. It was gone midnight when we finally got to our hotel and upon arrival, the reception area is not much to look at, the security guard that greeted us had no clue about anything other then where our room was and the elevator was an absolute nightmare. If im honest i was in an awful mood when we arrived, i was tired and hungry, the welcome we got was not what i expected and i told my partner i didn’t want to stay there. The room had no fan, the tv didnt work, and i’d just had enough. However, the next morning my faith was restored. The staff were lovely, they gave us some floor fans that were brilliant, they sorted the tv and were extremely helpful. The lack of wifi in the rooms is a bit weird but we pay for 4G so it wasnt too much of a bother. The room was clean, house keeping came in every other day to clean and again they were lovely. The pool area was clean, daily they had people painting, cleaning and watering the plants, they clearly take care of the place. Food, well what can i say. The breakfast was fine, its your general buffet style cooked breakfast, theres also cold cuts and pastries, cereals and yogurt. I felt there was a good selection and again the staff were lovely. Lunch was the same, a nice selection of hot and cold foods, salads, deli meats etc but i have to say the dinner selection was not for me and my family, we ate out every night. Im not saying it was bad but just not for us, the had a lot of sea food paella, beef stu, pasta but it just wasn’t for us. The snack bar at the pool is also fairly standard, burgers, fries, toasties, but it was fine if you’re just chilling and want a snack. The pool was clean, the guests were of all ages, no problems really aside from a few bratty kids but that cant really be helped and wasnt the hotels fault. The shop next door was really handy, esp if you’re like me and want a decent cup of tea, they had PG tips so i was happy. The people in the shop were also lovely and friendly. Location wise i cant complain, yes the street gets busy at night but its really not that bad, we had a street view room and we slept fine every night it really isnt that bad. The hotel was a few minutes walk from the beach front which was helpful, we also discovered so many bars and resturants over there so if you dont want to eat at the hotel there is plenty of choice. Although, i will say we appeared to really stick to one bar and that was the irish bar across the road called Faces. My 12yo daughter wanted to go in there every night because of the owner Colin, absolutely wonderful man, so friendly and funny, she loved it. It wasnt very busy in there, same group of people were there every night. Overall id say Laguna park is absolutely fine for what you pay, its not this roach infested cesspit that others are claiming it to be. The food isn’t dreadful, although i still think the dinner options aren’t very good. The place was clean, the staff were nice. At the end of the day it’s a place to sleep and chill, surely the most unimportant part of the holiday. I was there for a week, it really isn’t that bad at all.
