The location was excellent, situated on the front with bars and restaurants either side as you walk down the front, also handy for the buses to Garrucha, Vera and Mojacar Pueblo with the bus stop over the road. The atmosphere was mainly relaxed, just what we needed for a much needed family break, It wasn’t overly busy, yes kids do jump in the pool, they’re on holiday and having fun, I would say though some adults need to have more respect when others are in the pool. The entertainment staff work tirelessly, we were upgraded free of charge to a 2 bed apartment, once the aircon kicks in it’s cool, and the clement spacious with a nice south facing balcony for sun in the afternoon and plenty of kitchen space (we were in C19). Good value for money, though I would suggest the shop opens earlier than 9:30am and closes later than 9pm, I know it’s not officially part of the hotel but for those self catering folk, it would be really handy! The place was clean, always having bins emptied and tables cleaned, and the noise was at a minimum, highly recommended and would look to return at the right price. One little moan though, while there’s plenty of sun loungers, I didn’t like it when somebody tried to take our umbrella for themselves, we were in the pool so it wasn’t like we had just reserved sun beds and disappeared, we tried to complain but jay got a shrug of the shoulders - so worth keeping an eye on.

“Fantastic for a family without the hustle and bustle”

Once again a great stay. Staff amazing once again making guests happy and working hard. Busiest year we have experienced but still a great place to stay and swimming pools great and clean. “Busy Spanish family resort, but fun if you are holidaying with little ones”

I would say 95% of clientele are young spanish families with babies and young children but all were very well behaved. We stayed a week from 16th June with our grandson aged 6 who loved it. We chose this hotel for his benefit, over ours. I was surprised to only witness only one grown up shouting at their child during our stay. This wouldnt have been the case in a 3 star hotel mostly occupied by Brits. The clientele had a nice vibe and there were no incidents. There were plenty of sun loungers daily. Pools were exceptionally busy and not much room for swimming. Life guards were constantly present and vigilant to policing the rules. Main pool had loud music on repeat each day with planned games and exercise classes which were fun to watch. Check in was incredibly slow and we were give limited info despite one of us being fluent in spanish. The check in queue remained long each day and evening throughout. Site is huge with over 500 apartments. We have been to Mojacar many times and know it its predominantly a spanish tourist destination, but that suits us. We knew what to expect. Staff at this hotel spoke little english. Hotel is huge but very well maintained. Great shops and pizzeria on site. We stayed b&b only. Apartment was utilitarian, but cleaned daily, with comfy beds and good air con. Breakfast was plentiful, however was very busy after 9am. The pools were open from 10am - 8pm daily. There was an addition of a pool bar that opened for service on the lawn, from the saturday onwards. This was a good addition. My favourite time of the day was from 2pm-5pm in the middle pool as it was nice and quiet due to siesta time taken by most. Spanish evening entertainment was watchable and fun in the main square. Plenty of tables and chairs there, and table service for drinks. A haven for young kids to run around. The site felt safe for the children in my opinion. I felt sorry for those on all inclusive as the bar service for all inclusive drinks was so slow, both day and night/everyday. I would recommend this hotel to families not wanting to be sat next to other Brits on holiday. It had a nice family vibe, was clean and had a central location. But be prepared to learn / speak a little spanish if you do come here, or you could end up feeling a little 2nd rate. Its a spanish hotel mostly used by spanish families afterall.
