“Excellent family hotel”

6 adults , 7,6,4,3 just returned. Was but apprehension after reading some reviews but we had a brilliant time. Staff are so helpful and lovely , animation team brilliant with kids. Mimi disco was a hit and we enjoyed the shows. Rooms very clean , yes there are ants but we kept outer door shut and no food lying about so no issue. Great 2 individual beds with pull out sofa , great shower and kettle and fridge handy. Food , as ex catering manager fully under the issues of feeding such large numbers. We had 2 vegetarians with us and there was a good choice of meals and staff willing to make something if we requested in advance. The variety of food was really good , ok not as hot as I like but buffet food is difficult to get piping hot. Microwave is there. Would say to take thermal cup for your tea , cups are tiny . We used the bowling , great value at 3 euros each. Kids loved the arcade , bingo , turtles , pool games and slush puppies ( pay 4 euros for long tube and get free refills all holiday. Went to beach club twice , lots of pools and wee water slide. The bus up and down to it is a godsend in the heat , runs every 10 mins. Hotel pool good for small kids as big shallow end. Best of no sun bed wars , pool not open till 10 never struggled for beds. Location bit far out but buses at bottom of hill and really cheap. Our kids so happy at the complex only left twice for Biopark and trio to marina.

What a great week! I will start with the only real negative. It took us 90 minutes to check in. After a flight early hours, we were in a large queue to check in as many coaches arrived at the same time. There were only 2 people on check in and it took an age for them to sort each group out. After an hour; one member of the reception staff came to us to say you can leave your cases and go for lunch but we had already waited an hour. This should have been communicated on arrival. We were given towel slips at reception so had to work out how to get towels. I think it would be great to provide a map of the hotel world grounds on arrival so people are aware of what the resort has to offer. On to the positives! There were so many. Entertainment staff were amazing, plenty for adults to get involved in and our 6 and 3 year old had a jam packed itinerary to get involved in. The mini disco is great, and Kanu is a great touch! The rooms are spacious, lovely bit shower. Though it would be nice if the showers were attached to the wall so you didn’t have to hold the shower head up! Food was delicious. Their seafood and lamb dishes in particular were fabulous. Plenty of options for all. The pool snack bar is also a night touch. Plenty of alcohol options. The hotel is stunning - very picturesque. Large shop with everything you need, arcade, kids club, spa, gym (though a bit small for my liking!) and nice kids pool with the jacuzzi!! A bus runs every 15 mins to the beach club water park. If you have kids this is a winner. You can eat and drink there with your inclusive band. You can also use the other hotels on site. We had the best week and will definitely be back!

“Costa Del Sol!”

Stayed here recently as a family of 3! Hotel is slightly isolated so we hired a car to get out and about! Very impressive lobby area in the hotel and we were on the 3rd floor. Stayed here recently as a family of 3! Hotel is slightly isolated so we hired a car to get out and about! Very impressive lobby area in the hotel and we were on the 3rd floor. Very decent size room with kitchen area and fridge freezer. Air con was good throughout our stay and the balcony was large! Food was decent all week. The Beach Club is a fantastic part of the resort which is a short bus ride away. The bus was excruciatingly hot before they decided an open top bus was a better idea! One thing I would say is that the tv’s throughout the hotel are in desperate need of an upgrade. We were there during the World Cup and watching on a twenty odd year old LG 32 inch in standard definition wasn’t ideal! Other than that I would recommend the hotel for a young family!

We would like to share some feedback from our recent stay, as we experienced a few issues that affected our comfort. The main problem was on the night of arrival as the air conditioning in our room could not be adjusted, making the room uncomfortably warm throughout the night. We reported this to the receptionist, who offered to move us to another room, but by then it was already 11:30 p.m., which made switching rooms impractical. On top of this, we were woken up during the night by noise from other guests, as well as beeping sounds coming from the parking lot. Early in the morning, after being woken up by the beeping, we went to reception to ask about changing rooms. We were told to come back after breakfast to sort it out. When we returned after breakfast, however, we were told that a room change was not possible after all. Between the heat, the noise, and the lack of a solution despite asking twice, we got too little rest on the first night after arrival. We also noticed a few smaller issues, such as our online check-in not being properly registered/understood at arrival, not receiving tokens from the reception for cups at the beach club restaurant, and they could only offer us two pool towels although we were four people. But the air conditioning and noise disturbance were the biggest problems and had the greatest impact on our stay. We hope this feedback is useful for improving the experience for future guests.
