Barceló Tropical was amazing. We loved everything about it. The food was really good. Very diverse and fresh. The specialty restaurants were really good! Excellent customer service and the premises are outstanding. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Olivia Morales was extremely nice and helped us to have an amazing stay. The gym staff is very knowledgeable and provides excellent classes, worth attending.

The resort wasn't crowded, and the grounds and pool areas are kept absolutely pristine. That said, it wasn't quite as good as our previous visits. The beach had a significant amount of seagrass, and the mattresses in the rooms were unfortunately very uncomfortable and hard. We still love the layout… more

The sit down dinner reservations were top notch, and service was excellent! I wish the lunch had more variety, and wasn’t buffet only, but was still pretty good.
