We came to this hotel from the UK to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Our flight in landed at approx 10pm and due to a collision on the highway we didn’t make it to the hotel until after midnight. Despite this the reception staff was very friendly and even had us a packed lunch ready which was much appreciated. First impressions the hotel is a modern, sleek and clean place and is set over 2 floors. The ground floor (where we stayed) is a selection of small terraced rooms which surround the pool. There is an upper level which is very similar to the ground level and there’s an adults only area to the rear. The room was lovely, if a little small. The bathrooms are very modern in design and come with plenty of towels and products. The room had a double bed (2 singles pushed together) and a sofa bed for my daughter. The single beds was comfy but my daughter did complain the sofa bed was a little hard. The rooms have a TV, coffee machine, wardrobe and television. Unfortunately there’s no irons available in the room or from reception. There are some extras you may have to pay for. The bars are open 11am until midnight, there’s 2 all inclusive drinks packages a standard and a premium. However, if you wish to consume drinks after 11pm you will have to pay. Also if you wish for your pool towel to be cleaned there’s a charge. On arrival there was 2 coffee pods with milk in the room but once we used those they was never replenished. There’s also the choice to purchase a luxury poolside bed but we found there was plenty of standard beds available which was adequate. The food, whilst no a lot of choice was freshly cooked and tasty. There’s a Walt’s a couple of meat, fish and vegetarian options along with deserts. The coffee machines are switched off after breakfast though you can still order coffees from the bar they are very small. The entertainment was quite simple, usually consisting of aqua gym and bingo during the day and a music artist I. The evening. There’s no entertainment for young children in the evening. Taxis are easily available for days out but a trip to Morgan Mall is 35 Euros each way. Overall we enjoyed our stay here, it was pleasant, very clean and quite relaxed. The staff are very attentive and helped make our daughter’s birthday special. If you are looking for a holiday to wind down this is perfect but for children it isn’t that great.

“Great for a REAL quiet getaway”

Peaceful hotel Not too much to do in the area but it’s lovely Very picturesque As it’s a small hotel, they don’t have a large range of food on site however the view are extraordinary and the locals said they have places around to eat if you have the time to go explore Thank you

Just returned Beautiful hotel. Very peaceful and slow paced resort. Good for adults, but no entertainment really for kids or for adults really only a singer. It’s quite a walk to the beach. But they do lay on a bus to maspalomas and Puerto de ingles. Always something to choose at the buffet. But it’s hit and miss if the food is warm. Cleanliness of the rooms was second to none. Facilities always clean. Staff at the hotel were very polite and friendly. So helpful when my husband left phone in the taxi. We went on one trip to Puerto de mogan and the market. Went through the get my guide app. Prices so reasonable. I wouldn’t return as the locations was very quite.

I really feel like this hotel could be so much better than it is. It really is a beautiful hotel, I think the rooms are lovely, the pool area is so generously sized and you never struggle for a sunbed. The location I thought was ideal, it’s a short cab journey to get anywhere but it was a nice quiet area which we really enjoyed. The hotel was clean too, except for cockroaches that were rife but I feel like that’s just something you encounter anywhere in the Canary Islands. In terms of value, I’d say it was okay but I am frustrated with a few things. We paid for the premium drinks package but I don’t see what was premium about it - the hotel wouldn’t accommodate half of the drinks we requested which was just annoying. The all inclusive drinks are from 11am - 11pm which again, I find really rubbish. I had to rent a kettle, the hotel knew full well I had a baby that I would need to feed and they didn’t mention anything about no kettle being in the room. The towel situation was again, annoying - I’ve seen on some other reviews it’s to be more sustainable and save water but they don’t tell you that’s their reasoning behind it, it’s just “€1 a day”. We asked for late checkout on the day we were leaving as we weren’t getting picked up till 7pm and again, I had a baby who would need to sleep, be changed, have bottles prepared etc. They let us have our room for an extra 2 hours (12-2pm) but even when we’d left at 7pm, no one was checked into my room so we definitely could’ve stayed in the room for longer and would’ve happily paid. It’s nothing to do with the room needing to be cleaned either, it was done within an hour while we sat round the pool. The food was the biggest disappointment for me - I had breakfast twice out of the 10 days and we ate out every single night. The food tasted like it had been sat there for so long, everything we had at lunch was often there for dinner as well. The only thing I enjoyed were the chocolate eclairs - 10/10, wish I could’ve had them every day. Male reception staff also need some work on their customer service skills, very rude and unhelpful.
