Luggage Policy:
Hand luggage: Hand luggage should fit in the overhead locker or under the seat in front. Each piece of hand luggage must not exceed 55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm. One carry-on bag is allowed in Economy and two in Business and First.
In addition to the hand baggage allowance, adults and children who have their own seat may also carry one of the following items on board: handbag, laptop bag or shoulder bag (maximum 40 x 30 x 10 cm), infant chair, pair of crutches or canes, arm or leg splints, other prostheses or medical devices. Pocket buggies may only be taken on board as part of carry-on luggage if they are properly packed and may no longer be recognised as buggies.
Checked luggage: One piece of luggage which may not exceed the dimensions (length + height + width) of 158 cm. Larger or heavier bags will be carried as excess baggage at an additional cost. A charge will be applied for each additional piece of luggage above the limit allowed. Swiss International Air Lines does not accept pieces of luggage weighing more than 32 kilos and measuring more than 292 cm. Classic & Flex fares include a checked bag of 23 kilos, while Business fares include two cases of 32 kilos each.
One folding chair or buggy for a small child is allowed with all fares. Infants under two years old may also carry one piece of luggage up to 23 kilos with Classic, Flex and Business fares.
