I had a lovely stay, half board for 5 nights. The situation is ideal, being very near the beach, sea front walkway and lots of shops and restaurants. There’s a taxi rank across the street, fares pretty reasonable. The food was not cordon bleu, but good and well presented. For both breakfast and evening meal there was a good choice, if sometimes a bit repetitive, and freshly replenished throughout the session. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful without being gushing. The hotel was very clean. Beds were made, rooms cleaned and towels replaced daily. Our room was a good size with everything you would need. The balcony was spacious with table and chairs and even a wall mounted drying rack on the balcony (very useful for wet swimwear). On evenings, from the balcony you could very clearly hear the entertainment from the large hotel across the street, but it finished promptly at 11 pm after which everything was quiet and peaceful. All in all a very pleasant stay. There were people across the generations staying, from pensioners to families with young children. I heard French, German, Spanish and Italian speakers as well as Brits. No rowdiness or bad manners anywhere. I would recommend this hotel for location, staff, cleanliness and value for money except for those with mobility, heart or breathing problems, as there are small flights of steps dotted around everywhere on the premises. It would be helpful if signage from the street could be improved, since hotel reception is actually slotted between a jewellery shop and a bar. Not easily spotted from the street where coaches and taxis drop off, and a little bit of a trek with heavy cases in the heat of the day if you go the wrong way as we did.

Stayed in 1 bedroom xtra sea view room. (E6-12). This room was yet to be updated but it was spotlessly clean and very spacious. Only complaint was the main bedroom did not have air conditioning so would get a little warm even with the fan on full speed. We stayed half board. Breakfast had all the normal cooked breakfast as well as a good selection of continental choices. Evening meal is one of the reasons for dropping a star. There was no separate children's choices so if you have very fussy eaters this could be a problem. My 2 children managed to find something they liked each day from what was on offer. All food was cooked beautifully and was very tasty, it would be nice to have another 1 or 2 dessert options available. Pool area is really good, we had no problems finding loungers around the pool despite not getting there until midday at the earliest. It seemed a bit strange as to access the pool and restaurant you had to walk around the outside of the building and re-enter through the main reception, but certainly not a deal breaker. There is no evening entertainment but with everything else available in the surrounding area this was not a problem. I assume after the building works are completed the lounge bar will be open again - if so this would be an excellent place to relax. Location is excellent with just a 2 minute walk to the beach and surrounded by restaurants and pubs/bars. I was worried this could be noisy, but was pleasantly surprised to find no noise could be heard unless the doors were open or sitting on the balcony. All grounds were very clean and well kept and the staff were all friendly and happy to assist with any queries we had. I would recommend this if you want somewhere to stay that is reasonably priced and in a good location

Just finishing an 11 night stay and overall it’s been a good holiday. Room - 1 bedroom apartment with pool and sea view, very spacious, lovely balcony, cleaned daily. Only issue was we had to walk around through reception to the pool which is literally 5 yds from our balcony. Food - was half board as it was cheap. Food not great but managed breakfast and evening meal 50% of stay. Location - fantastic for bars , restaurants, supermarket and Taxis just outside, beach 100 m away. Pool area - great, no sun bed wars, went out 9.30am and there were loads of beds available. Overall good experience, would return and may look to book a different room with access to pool area, eg E 5-8

After reading previous reviews was quite worried about staying here but was pleasantly surprised. We had booked a recently renovated room which was lovely, only fault no plug near a mirror & no makeup/shaving mirror. Previous reviews said rooms not cleaned but ours was cleaned & fresh towels every day except one, had to pay for a safe where in some places it’s free. Lovely pool area & no sunbed wars but maybe a little quiet for us as my husband likes joining in activities but great if you just want to chill.wentfor breakfast on first day but not impressed & in dark dingy room so we didn’t bother again, there is a supermarket at the top of the road so just did our own. Brilliant location walk straight out to all the bars & restaurants.
