Lovely, clean hotel. Great location. All staff very friendly. Halloween night in the restaurant was amazing, food was very on theme with lots of effort put in by the Chefs & Team and also decorations throughout. The only thing I would suggest, would to maybe have a little background music by the Adult pool throughout the day, other than that, everything was great. Thank you all

“HOViMA Hmmmmmm”

Great Location, Great Vibe, Rooms were well presented and cleaned daily. We went all inclusive and for us it worked out to be best, although be aware all inclusive has several restrictions (e.g. only one brand of beer, no tea and coffee in some bars, The Rooftop bar has no all inclusive offerings)… more

Great Location, Great Vibe, Rooms were well presented and cleaned daily. We went all inclusive and for us it worked out to be best, although be aware all inclusive has several restrictions (e.g. only one brand of beer, no tea and coffee in some bars, The Rooftop bar has no all inclusive offerings). Something you would expect as a minimum from this standard of hotel. Pools are good although like most hotels, you need to get a towel on a sun bed early to avoid disappointment. It is difficult to get a bed in the sun all day and they aren’t that comfortable. One of the highlights for us was breakfast, great food offerings and Berta is amazing with her omelette’s. Reception staff while friendly did not explain anything when we checked in aside from meal times. It’s left to you to work out what’s included or not in your board basis.

An “ok” hotel but some key things which let it down for us. One of our party had some food allergies and having previously stayed at other hotels in the resort who were exceptional at handling these requirements, the Hovima Suites was poor in comparison. Most food which could easily be Gluten Free had a warning, and despite ordering alternative food as requested it was rarely ready for us at the agreed times so we never ate together. The staff numbers in the restaurant also appear to be too few and the place is very busy resulting all staff clearing tables with no manager present to assist. Equally chefs can’t leave their station to help due to being so busy. Again this is completely different to other hotels we have stayed in. I did email the hotel with this feed back during my stay, but never heard back. Also if you want to use the pool please note the “fun police” are out in full force and no lilos or inflatable balls are allowed in the pool. In summary If you have a food allergy or you have children that like to use the pool with a lilo I would not book this hotel. Other aspects are ok

My family of four stayed here for Halloween half term break. The positives: Modern hotel - lovely reception and bar Heated pools Great location Good kids entertainment Some of staff friendly and helpful The negatives: Some staff not that friendly Generally very poor food Chaotic basement restaurant Hard to get sunbeds actually in the sun Beds are just singles pushed together - not comfortable and rubbish pillows Terrible balcony and views from our room No water slides for kids by pool other than the kids ‘splashpark’ - which is a terrible strip of barren land with a few sprinklers Football / basketball court closed early, didnt have floodlights and balls were flat Charges for room safe Broken arcade machines Broken bathroom door - notified to staff but not fixed - and patchwork flooring Often broken lifts and toilets around the building that took days to fix Real lack of information - lot of guesswork and asking staff to find out basic info - lots of which isn’t on the webpage (not an app) Overall I wouldn’t say it was 4 stars based on service and facilities. If coming back I’d look elsewhere.
