A lovely experience from start to finish. Patricia and her team are very helpful and welcoming. We had a slight problem with our room where is was located. It was no trouble at all we was moved straight away. You get a few people queuing for the sun loungers but trust me you don't need to. They are enough for everyone. We were half board but ate out most nights , loved the fact you can change your evening meal to lunch meal. Rooms were cleaned regularly to very good standard. It's my 2nd stay here and highly recommend it . My Daughter is taking my Mum for Xmas. Just wish I was joining them. Lovely nice chilled apartments , run by a very friendly team . 👌

First time here, but stayed in the area loads of times, wanted another cheap week away and the price was spot on. If you’re looking for 5 star luxury this place is not for you. But if you’re looking for a break in a great location ,where everything is spotlessly clean and the staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly then this could be for you. Reception really helpful Patricia and her team were brilliant , pool area was good no problems with sunbeds , entertainment at night seemed pretty good to be honest , food is ok Not really up to the quality we normally have but we like to eat out a few nights anyway but were always able to find something to eat the restaurant staff and service was spot on, for what we paid for the holiday I think we had good value for money . We will definitely come again

“Friendly staff with hotel in ideal location.”

This was our 2nd stay at the Hovima Panorama, staying on the 6th October and have to say it was an enjoyable holiday. The 99 room hotel spread over two or three levels suited us nicely. And as mentioned on other reviews the staff from reception, waiting, bar staff and the cleaners were so friendly and welcoming, they are a credit to the hotel. We were half board taking breakfast and evening meal. The food was buffet service and whilst the variety was smaller compared to other hotels we’ve half boarded, we found the the quality really good and there was always plenty choice to from with a good selection of meats, salad, vegetables, fruit and puddings. One good point is when half board you can swap you evening meal to the earlier lunch menu, just inform the reception. The pool was kept spotless and whilst there was the usual early morning grabbing of beds, we didn’t have any problems getting a bed with a parasol. The rooms were fine and kept clean and had a good shower room with towels changed every 2nd day. We were allocated room 144 which was a Promotional Studio and this is where we had the only disappointment as these rooms backed on to the back wall of the restaurant next door. This by no means a criticism as the hotel which was fully booked and this is what was allocated to us at the time. Next we will try and make sure we get a pool side studio upgrade. One advantage of these rooms though is you get no noise and are quiet, we were fortunate to get the corner room which afforded us a partial view of the harbour and sea. The hotel is in a perfect and relatively quiet location next to the promenade and harbour, close to the beach at Puerto Colon or Las Americas in the other direction. As far as bars, restaurants and nightlife are concerned, you have the best of both worlds with either lively or quiet, all within. 10 minute walk. We can certainly recommend this hotel and will come back sometime soon but perhaps book direct with the hotel and book a poolside studio next time.

Week long stay, staff were lovely and smiley and hotel is in a great location. As we arrived late on the first night staff left food in the fridge, which was a nice touch. However rooms could’ve been cleaner and the bathroom outdated and slightly dirty with hairs etc. Overall an average hotel with basic amenities, can’t comment on the food as we didn’t try it.
