We arrived in the evening time, the staff were friendly enough. We stayed on the 7th floor, room was big and spacious so couldn’t fault it the size. The only complaint we had was we found cockroaches in the bathroom during the night once and then the day we were leaving we seen more dead ones in the corridors and in the dining area which was quite off putting only we were leaving that day. Locations is ideal to walk around everywhere and close to the beach. The food in the restaurant was average, we stayed half board and done breakfast and had lunch 2 days we ate out every other time. I would recommend bringing your own tea bags. The pools were good, the main pool we found one of the life guards to be quite rude to the children and my partner slipped around the pool area as it’s very slippy to walk about and the lifeguards didn’t even try to assist him. An old lady helped him up and back to us as his leg was cut and badly swollen from where he banged it. The staff were friendly enough in the hotel overall and the entertainment staff during the day were great with adults and kids. It was reasonably priced for drinks. The only thing that would put me off returning is the cockroaches.

Great hotel location, 5mins walk to main prom. Travelling with family (5 adults and 2 children ages 7/6) the hotel suited our needs. We were allocated lovely seaview rooms. Beds were clean and comfy. Daily cleaning took place by friendly housekeeping staff. Bit of a smell from bathroom sink which we soon remedied by keeping the plug closed, when sink not in use. First time all inclusive and we had no complaints. As this was a mixed age party, the all inclusive option was utilised better by the younger members than the older family members. The restaurant is clean and bright. The choices and selection of food on offer was very good and we never struggled to find something to suit each of us. We only encountered one grumpy greying chap who refused to put 2 tables together for our family...the other friendly staff accommodated us with little difficulty, rather than sending us to the back corner of the restaurant. The pool bar provided fresh daily snacks. More swimming pool games/games programme could be provided for school age kids eg water basketball, inflatable games etc. We went, only a couple of times, to the evening entertainment in the Salon. This room needs a refurbishment including a deep clean. The wine needs to be chilled not warm in there. The Animation Team need to come up with some fresh and new evening entertainment ideas, very childish nonsense. We preferred the Piano bar, although the nightly muscians were far too loud. However, the staff were cheerful and friendly in this Bar. Overall a good hotel and with some changes could become a great hotel.

“10 years on from our first visit...”

A return visit after 10 years! Whilst it was lovely to see that nothing had really changed in the last 10 years, it is also a reflection of some areas needing maintenance. A return visit after 10 years! Whilst it was lovely to see that nothing had really changed in the last 10 years, it is also a reflection of some areas needing maintenance. We were on the ninth floor which, whilst it was lovely and quiet with fabulous views, it left us at the mercy of the lifts 😣 Having to use 2 different lifts to get across the hotel to our room, and 1 of each pair of lifts constantly out of use, meant long waits everywhere we went which was annoying and hot! The area has not changed much either, but does look a bit dirtier in places, overflowing public bins and homelessness seems to be an issue on the rise.

“A fair value hotel that would benefit an update.”

We stayed bed & breakfast for 1 week and will start by saying we would stay here again at the right price. The room was very spacious with good maid service. Large tv with main uk channels. Small fridge for daily drinks/milk. A kettle is also provided along with complimentary drinks (a bottle opener hangs beside the fridge). The safe was also included. The air con wasn’t cold and unbearably noisy on the high setting but we decided it was better leaving it off after the first night (would have raised as an issue if it were a hotter room). There was only one lift working which served our part of the hotel, frustrating and time consuming using two times a day, I would probably be more angry if we needed the lift more. The faulty lift looked like it may have been out of service some time due to the “out of service” sticker being faded. We didnt use the hotel facilities as went to the beach each day but the pool area looked nice, fully enclosed by the buildings so unsure how well the sun gets to areas. We went for breakfast each day as it was included, a very large restaurant with lots of coffee machines and seating. Continental breakfast looked good, cooked english breakfast was poor (sausages & bacon) omelettes are ok but having only wanted 2 fillings, this doesn’t mean I want a smaller omelette than someone having 3 or 4 fillings, I want the same size omelette please! Check out was at 12pm and our room wasn’t available to extend, we were able to book a 30 minute time slot for the shower rooms on ground floor and were more than happy with this solution.
