Three of us have just got home today from staying here. We arrived late and was told to leave our bags in reception and go for some dinner. The dinner consisted of different meats, some salad and pitta bread. Rooms: We then went back and was given one room when we had booked 2 but they sorted that and gave us a second room. We had booked a single and a double room but both rooms were more like twins, each with 2 single beds. The rooms were clean and spacious and the ckeaner came in everyday yo clean our rooms and leave awesome towel designs. All inclusive and food and drink: The all inclusive menu was not great, no beer on the all inclusive apart from in the restaurant at lunch and dinnertime. The spirits on offer was vodka, brandy rum amd I believe whisky but it didnt matter which one you ordered as it all tasted the same. Beer was 300 Egyptian pound in the nightclub bar and 200 Egyptian pounds in the pool bar and the lobby bar. There is also a beer shop over the road who sell bottled beer for 100 Egyptian pound each and people did tend to buy from there and bring in. The beer shops does all sorts of alcohol in there. The breakfast menu was the same everyday with a range of salads and hot food (not to my liking) and at the end of all that was a chef who made omelettes and scrambled/fried eggs to order. Lunches were virtually the same but they would have a couple of new things to eat each day and the same with dinner. I personally got bored of the good there after 10 days. The food is nice but repetitive. Staff: I personally did not have any issues with the staff here, they all seemed really friendly but I know other people did have some issues. The cleaners are always around cleaning, the restaurant staff are always nice and the lifeguards like to have a laugh with everyone. Complaints were made by others but issues were sorted mostly. Pool: The main pool was cold but once you got used to it was clean enough. 8 only went in once but enjoyed swimming playing volleyball. Animation team: Farris and Muhammed were fantastic. They got everyone involved with the activities and were really helpful. There was dancing, yoga, darts completions and plenty of other activities. The evening entertainment was repetitive though. Some nights there would be a belly dancer and then the same oriental/folklore show, there was karaoke some nights and other nights just a disco but prople got up and joined in. The nightclub was loud a few times a week and music went on til 3 or 4am. We met some great new friends which made the holiday better and I feel without these friends, maybe we wouldn't have had quite as much fun. When we first got there, there was a man who seemed to live onsite but he walked round as if he was a pimp and seemed to pray on women, there were many complaints about him and he was eventually asked to leave which changed the atmosphere in a positive way. Just be mindful if you are going with teenage female children as some of the staff there can be inappropriate. We would only stay at this hotel again if it was just a base to lay our heads between excursions. For a family all inclusive relaxing holiday, this hotel would not be suitable amd I would not rate it as a 4 star hotel, 3 star at best but even that is being generous.
