We chose this hotel based on the consistent 5-star reviews. I was curious to see for myself what was the key differentiator between this and the other 5 star hotels we've stayed in. On arrival, we were simply breathless at the sheer opulence and beauty of the whole hotel, both inside and out. It was even better than the photos. We were greeted so warmly and professionally, and check-in took literally minutes before we and our cases were whisked away to our suite. Our accommodation. We stayed in 4217. The suite was fabulous. Spacious luxury with a magnificent view over the gardens, pools, and sea. Dressing gowns, slippers, a huge and extremely comfortable bed, sitting room and a jacuzzi bath, fresh fruit, an abundance of snacks, and a well stocked fridge. There was a huge bathroom with so many toiletries. There is no need to pack anything you might need in there. A huge walk-in shower, double sinks, bidet, and the bath sheets were huge and fluffy. Cleanliness in the hotel was beyond anything I've ever seen anywhere in the world. Every surface gleamed. There were cleaning staff literally polishing every surface, bannisters, glass, and walkways. We did not find a single thing or space that was not immaculately cleaned. Our room was looked after superbly by the most humble, courteous, kind, warm, and delightful man who, without any request to do so, deserves a special mention. There was just something about him that touched our hearts. He was the very soul / epitome of first-class service. A quiet, unassuming assurance of a genuine desire to please with a wonderful warmth. The grounds were so unbelievably beautiful. Every space was simply breathtaking. It was literally like paradise on earth. The pools, the waterfalls, the manicured gardens, the sheer array of space, and facilities on offer were exceptional. The dining exceeded our expectations, too. Every restaurant was just superb. There were so many a la cartes to choose from that we were unable to visit them all during our stay. Even the buffet, which can be a bit hit and miss at most all-inclusive hotels, was outstanding. The head chef of the buffet even took time to talk me through the vast array of choices of desserts. He was clearly extremely proud of his mouth-watering creations, and the proof of his skills was definitely in the tasting. The level of service right across the hotel was beyond excellent. Every member of staff was professional, courteous, and friendly. They could not do any more to make your stay just perfect. I took time to meet with Mr Bashra, a wonderful and superbly professional manager, to ask him what he believed to be the secret of the hotels success. How did they consistently receive 5 star ratings and from our findings whilst here, have so many returning customers. After building his career over 15 years with The Savoy, it is the pride he and his team take in understanding their customers' needs and constantly striving to exceed them. The finest of tweaks can enhance a customer's experience. He has a philosophy that says that in order to teach, you need to have been a student. By this, he means that you need to understand the roles and have hands-on experience at the ground level to spot opportunities for consistent excellence. The people on the ground, at the forefront of the customer experience day in day out, are 100% committed to providing the best possible experience for every customer that stays with them. And my word, does it show! It's evident in every single aspect of what this hotel provides. So, what is THE key differentiator between this and other 5 star hotels we have stayed at? There isn't one! There are many! There are too many to list. This is a genuine, honest, first-time staying customer's review. I know it must read like a sales brochure for the hotel, but it is deserved. I've travelled all over the world, and I'm not easily impressed, but this hotel is every bit as good as the reviews describe. 10 out of 10. It'll be our new winter holiday home of choice.

We have just returned from an amazing 10 day holiday at the Royal Savoy in Sharm el sheikh, we can't praise this hotel highly enough, the hotel is immaculately clean and so beautiful, the staff are incredible and looked after us so well, the choice of restaurants are superb, we couldn't fit them all in unfortunately! we went with friends and we all said on our last day we wished we could have stayed longer, it truly is an outstanding hotel and rightly deserves its 5* rating, there is absolutely nothing you could fault.

A week’s break with the simple purpose of getting in some Snorkelling and warmth was our target and it was easily achieved at Royal Savoy. The airport pick up went well and we we swiftly checked in to a great room with a lovely view over the pool and out to sea - 2nd Floor We thought we might have a problem with the air con being difficult to control - until I realised that there were 3 different controllers for the suite and normal service was resumed! The front desk were quick to offer to send an engineer though if it had been needed. Housekeeping also looked after us well during our stay. We were on the Bed and Breakfast package and found it quite sufficient, a good breakfast was then supplemented by various snacks that were available through out the day. With soft drinks available all of the time and wine and beer from midday to midnight also included you could easily tick over without needing to spend much at all should you wish. There was also a cocktail happy hour ( for 2 hrs) and a hot canapés/snack available from 6-8 pm. A great range of cocktails being made to order. It was easy to head up to Soho Square for an evening - just ask for a buggy to take you and there was lots on offer there. We went a few times but our mission was a very simple relaxing week so we didn’t go out on any of the excursions the main hotel could offer. We have been to the area a number of times and felt no great urgency to see more. The Royal Savoy is a very pleasant oasis within the Savoy complex so it is easy to dip in and out of the busier areas as you wish. The beach area is a specific region at the north end of the bay with its own bar and facilities. You were also provided with your own ice box containing bottles of water. The staff are just as helpful and keen to make your stay enjoyable. The snorkelling was good and the access from the pontoon very easy. We did snorkel beyond the monitored area as we are quite experienced and we thoroughly enjoyed our swims. Do be aware of the need to be alert to boats etc though. Good fish life and some pleasing coral growth. It was as good as other areas in Na’am Bay from a previous stay. Staff in all areas were unfailingly pleasant and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, it would be wrong to single out any one in particular as they all contributed to the overall level of service. You can see why so many of the other guests we chatted to are regular returners, something we will certainly consider ourselves.

Breakfast in the Royal morning room was superbly catered by Samir our Chef and brilliantly served by the excellent Amed, Jona and Argie, thanks guys. All the staff are friendly, professional and efficient. All our needs were met bet by extremely hard working Ahmed on the front desk. The suites are spacious and well equipped with UK, USB and Continental electric sockets. Great sea view and afternoon sun on the balcony (Royal wing 4, 2nd floor). Great massage treatments by Shamila, thanks. Highly recommended for an Winter Break.
