It is a highly recommended hotel, especially for families with babies. The food, animation team, and overall atmosphere are excellent, particularly in the morning and evening. There are numerous pools where both children and adults can swim comfortably. The beach offers stunning coral reefs with a wide variety of colorful fish. Of course, I cannot fail to mention the security staff, who are extremely professional and well-trained.

Last night I returned from my first trip outside of Europe, aside from the USA. The Renaissance resort has absolutely exceeded all my expectations. The rooms are large, luxurious and comfortable, with a beautiful view. Don't get me started about the beds and the linen. My bed at home just didn't feel the same anymore. The resort, rooms and facilities like the spa/sauna are clean, and everything is maintained very well. The buffet restaurant offers plenty of options, and has a lot of different menu items each day (Mexican night was the best). I love falafel, and there was plenty to be had. Expect loads of different salads, fruits, vegetable (curries), rice dishes, fish, meats, roasts, and more. The (alcoholic) drinks are good and plentiful. House reef is really pretty as well, although we had some bad luck with the wind, so it wasn't open each day. The swimming pools were nice. There's plenty to do at the resort, and it's easy to get off and explore the area. Nightlife entertainment is nearby, you can get there by foot, but there's also resort-organized trips to different parties each night. Booked two trips through the resort. First one was to the Blue Hole, which was amazing - I was almost the only one in the water. The second one we went quad-riding, where we really got to floor a quad in the desert (fun). The absolute stars of the resort are the staff. I've never had the pleasure of such a professional, friendly and involved staff on previous holidays. They take care of you extremely well and get to know you and your preferences in no-time. Special shout-out to Beshoy, our ever helpful man from reception, Mohammed, who helped us with our excursions, Sami our housekeeper, Momo from the diving center, Sam the spa-man, Ola and the rest from the animation team, the clinic doctor for helping my friend navigate an ear injury and hospital visit during the trip (and the associated insurance finances, no upfront costs, travel insurance was accepted at the hospital), and last not least, our legendary Zin Zini bartenders Rami and Mohammed. (Sorry if I messed up and forgot some names here).

The resort has good accommodations with comfortable rooms, and the beach is a positive highlight, with a well-organized structure and towels readily available. Unfortunately, the food experience was disappointing. While there are several dining options, the quality did not meet expectations, and cleanliness was a recurring issue, as we found dirty plates and coffee cups. We also tried some of the other restaurants within the resort, which were acceptable at best, but none stood out positively.
