As a couple who uses reviews to base our decisions on where to go as it’s so important you choose the right place when spending lots of money, I wanted to give my complete unbiased review after being here for 7 days, this is the only review you need to read if you’re looking to come here It’s worth mentioning there’s a Jaz Mirabel park and a Jaz mirabel beach resort on the same complex. This can be quite confusing when booking so make sure you choose the one you want. You can access both but the beach resort is further up towards the beach giving it easy access to the private beach, you can still use this of course if you’re staying at the park resort it’s just a bit of a walk Location- Situated about a 10 minute private taxi ride away from SSH airport, it’s in the perfect part of sharm with plenty to do around Safety- This resort is very safe, Egypt as a whole is safe in these tourist areas. Tourism is very important to the economy so they do their best to make it as safe as possible, it’s safe to leave the resort too but be warned you will be pestered as you pass every shop with someone trying to get you to buy something There’s security everywhere all around the resort, very well maintained, there was no trouble of any sort whilst I was here This resort is absolutely stunning, well kept after and very clean, it’s definitely a 5 star resort in my opinion, I see lots of reviews saying it’s not but it definitely is The rooms are clean, tidy, cleaners change the sheets and re stock your water and towels almost every day. The air con works perfectly we didn’t have any problems Food- this is obviously a big one for many especially English picky eaters Foods fantastic, there’s so much to choose from it’s unbelievable, it’s clean safe hygienic and the chefs do a great job with a smile on their face, they also do outdoor bbq style food cooked fresh in front of you. Inc pizza, Delightful, there’s also a range of vegetarian and vegan dishes, curry’s etc. The staff on the whole are brilliant, always smiling happy to help and hard working to keep this place as great as it is. Beach- The beach is nice, sandy/gravelly with blue waters in front great for snorkelling, please note though there isn’t any coral reefs on the immediate sea area just shallow blue waters, however there is coral reefs and a ship wreck at the end of the jetty’s that you can walk down and get in from there, unfortunately it’s weather dependent as if it’s too windy and the waves are too big you’re not allowed in, we was unlucky and didn’t get to go in the whole stay but it did look lovely Trips and excursions As normal with resorts etc there’s always people around selling trips The 4 trips you should do are White Island ras Mohammed Ultimate dessert experience Glass bottom boat Tiran island boat trip These are all great for the average couple or family looking to do something a bit quieter take lots of photos and enjoy the day, you can also do scuba diving and snorkelling on the boat trips, the corals are unbelievable it’s worth it You’re better off using a company outside the hotel to book your excursions and trips as don’t be fooled, the vendors inside the resort selling trips are charging double what you could pay, so have a look around first. For an idea of what a reasonable price is for your judgment White Island £30 each Dessert experience £30 each Glass bottom boat £15 each Tiran island £25 each They will charge you double this in the resort Jaz mirabel is great for kids too, with water slides kids pools kids entertainment kids food it’s a decent place for family’s On a whole thing hotel is a must stay in my opinion, it’s stunning and the photos don’t do it justice. I’d definitely come back for sure, if I was to book again I’d definitely book the beach resort instead of the park just because it’s on the beach front.. Cons - So it wouldn’t be fair to do a review without noting the few cons I have, personally these are not deal breakers it’s literally the only things I’d change Room mattresses - these could do with a change up, for me they was too hard, you get used to them after a few days, if you’re unhappy you can ask for it changed or a mattress topper Room decor - whilst still nice clean and what you’d expect from the basic room at a resort, just think it could do with a little upgrade, again very minor but my opinion, some of the plug sockets didn’t work either A worthy note is. Bring English pounds, euros, or dollars, the Egyptian pound is very weak here and they actually prefer our stronger currency, you get better deals too, but also carry small Egyptian change as you’ll need to do lots of tipping especially on trips and even more so in the dessert, it’s small for us but means a lot to them. You can also use card in most parts of Sharm. Cash is obviously preferred by them though I hope this review has made up someone’s mind if you were researching whether to come here or not. THIS is the place to come too, believe me you won’t regret it. Enjoy your holiday 😃

Very friendly and helpful staff, we enjoyed the way we were treated during our stay. The room was sparkling clean all the time, minibar filled, funny figures from towels were so cute! Very friendly and helpful staff, we enjoyed the way we were treated during our stay. The room was sparkling clean all the time, minibar filled, funny figures from towels were so cute! Pool bar was great, glasses always clean, good drinks! Thanks to the poolbar staff! Also the staff at the reception bar was very friendly, making very beautifully decorated cocktails! Food at the restaurant was very good, grilled kebabs, lamb, crabs etc, freshly made bread, super nice icecream. When we entered the restaurant, staff was already preparing a table for us. Big thanks to the chef and the staff of the restaurant! We enjoyed absolutely everything! Also we enjoyed that there were not many kids in that hotel, it was relaxing. Animation was good, but not too pushy, what we also enjoyed. We loved this hotel and we will return when we will get a chance!

Recently, my husband, our two sons, and I returned from a vacation at this hotel. I must admit, I was a bit worried at first because the reviews were quite mixed, but it turned out to be really good! We all enjoyed it! We stayed in the Club and Park section, but spent more time at the Beach area because it felt livelier and more active. The animation team was great. Our section was quiet and calm — but that’s fine, it’s good to move around! The food was good, and the hotel grounds were very beautiful. I wouldn’t go there in winter because of the wind, but in September the weather was perfect. As for the downsides — the long pier was a bit of a disappointment, and it’s not possible to snorkel from the middle section. I didn’t notice any mosquitoes, but my son got quite a few bites. The water attractions could be a bit more exciting, but I expected that. One day there was an inflatable attraction in the pool, but since there was no information about it, we noticed it only when it was already over — that was a pity. Our younger son is a picky eater, but the pizza bars were a lifesaver! Ice cream is available during the day, but it’s not mentioned anywhere — you have to ask for it. The bar at the reception was excellent — tasty, well-made cocktails from the drink menu. Even though I left tips, we never got any of those nice towel decorations the kids were looking forward to :) And one more minus — the Italian restaurant was really bad.
