I had a very good overall experience at Domina Coral Bay. The hotel has a stunning garden and a truly caring and polite staff. The food was excellent, and the restaurants were clean and well-maintained. However, I cannot give 5 stars because the room had quite a lot of worn-out furniture and was not properly cleaned upon arrival. After I raised the issue, the cleaning was done very thoroughly, which I appreciated. I would recommend the hotel management to invest in renovation and restoration of the rooms. Also, the air freshener in the lobby was too strong and overpowering. Despite these details, the place feels like a little paradise, and the staff made the stay very pleasant.

We stayed with my friends from August 1–7, 2025. I do not recommend this hotel for Ukrainians. Cons: Main reason: around 60% of the guests are russians. Everyone who is not Italian (the hotel used to focus on Italians) is automatically put by staff into the “russo” group. For example, at the “Cleopatra Night” dinner show, guests were divided into two lines: Italiano and russo. When we said we were from Ukraine, they rolled their eyes and sent us to the “russo” line anyway. We were seated with russians, and the host often switched to russian. If you skip the meeting with the guide (where they try to sell overpriced tours and scare you with russian-language stories about kidnappings), you may be removed from the airport transfer list without any notice. We found this out only on the day of departure and had to take a taxi. Some broken sunbeds on the beach. One night they served undercooked fish. After that, we were cautious with fish dishes. Rooms are “tired,” showing clear signs of age. Cleaning is inconsistent: in the second room, towels were not changed for 2 days, and once they left a set for only 1 person. On the shopping street inside the hotel territory, there’s a shop called Andryusha — do not buy Turkish delight there, it’s a cheap fake and very disappointing. Evening animation is in Italian, English, and russian. Sometimes English disappears, and only the other two remain. One of the animators, even knowing we were from Ukraine and always spoke to her in Ukrainian or English, continued speaking to us in russian. Pros: The sea and the beach (except for the moment on September 3rd when Russians played the song “3rd of September” loudly). Food: wide choice, always enough fish, meat, side dishes, vegetables, fruit, and desserts. Nice excursion to White Island with snorkeling. We specifically asked if there would be a Russian group — they assured us it was too expensive for them. In the end, it was only us and Italians. Price: €55 per person (starting price was €65). Bargain for it.

The resort itself looks nice and is fairly large, but unfortunately several things do not work as they should. On arrival, we were assigned a very dated room and had issues within the first 24 hours with the resort’s transport system (TafTaf). There is no queuing system in place, so people often skip ahead, meaning you wait for 2–3 TafTafs (10–15 minutes). Communication with some drivers was difficult, as many only spoke Arabic ( I’ve tried English, Italian, or Spanish) After raising our concerns, we were moved to another room, which was meant to be an upgrade. While it was bigger, it was located by a construction site, the shower wasn’t fully working, and the beds were two singles pushed together with fabric to cover the gap — very uncomfortable for a week’s stay. The mattresses themselves are extremely hard and uncomfortable. The buffet food is repetitive and not of great quality. The resort is pet-friendly, which is nice, but there are numerous cats allowed inside the restaurants, often seen running around or even sitting on chairs. At Sultan Beach, the all-inclusive bar is very far from the sunbeds, making it inconvenient to get drinks. The main beach is pleasant, but towels provided are very often stained and very old. Another downside is the constant sales pitches from reps for massages, salon services, and excursions — even while trying to relax in the pool. On the positive side, the majority of the staff are very friendly and go above and beyond to help. Overall, while the resort has potential and some lovely staff, the dated rooms, uncomfortable beds, lack of organisation, and repetitive food make it difficult to recommend as it stands.

The staff is divided between kind and kindless people who don’t care about customers basics needs ex.: medical equipment request to lifeguard
