Great hotel. 2nd visit. But room cleaning is below par. Dust on headboard/ light fitting. Marks on switches. looks like drink or coffee not sure could be cleaning products. 1st time we were here we had a full minibar refilled every day no charge. After 2 weeks we've had only 2 cans of coke in the minibar 1st day!!! Bathroom is standard for Egyptian hotel . The end staircase seems to have been forgotten

Flow Spectrum Resort – Honest Review (Currently Staying) We are currently staying at Flow Spectrum Resort and overall, I would return and I would recommend the hotel to others, however there are some important points future guests should be aware of. The hotel advertises multiple ice cream flavours, however there are only ever four available: chocolate, strawberry, mango and vanilla. This is the same for milkshakes. Bar staff almost always say there is “no milk” for milkshakes, whether this is at 11:30am or 8:30pm, which becomes frustrating. We were told that à la carte restaurants must be booked between 10am–12pm and 3pm–4pm. When we went at 3:50pm, we were told we could not book and would need to return the next day at 10am. We did so, but nobody turned up until 10:40am, meaning we missed out on at least one à la carte booking. Before arriving, I emailed the hotel weeks in advance to advise that we were travelling with an 18-month-old baby, requesting a travel cot to be in the room ready for arrival, as we were arriving after 11pm, and also asked for a room close to facilities, preferably downstairs. I never received a response. On arrival, there was no cot in the room and we didn’t receive one until 1:30am, after asking three times. We visited the Argentinian Restaurant and unfortunately the service was very poor. Drinks were not replenished unless we asked. The menu is misleading, as it refers to steaks, however no steak was served. We were given the wrong meals, and when we asked if the meat was lamb, we were told yes, when in fact it was chicken. One main meal was served well before the other, meaning my partner had finished eating before “mine” arrived — which turned out to actually be his meal anyway. There were no questions about food or drinks for our baby. The food itself was tasty, but the service let it down. Some waiters are extremely kind and go above and beyond without expecting tips. However, it does feel that some staff who receive tips initially then provide poorer service afterwards, as if once they have what they wanted, the service drops. Food in general is tasty and well suited to an international audience. It’s a shame that ice cream is not served alongside meals, as having cake with ice cream would be a nice option, although I do appreciate there is an ice cream shop open for around 12 hours a day. After providing some gentle feedback to guest relations, we returned to our room to find fruit and juices, which was a nice gesture. There is a shuttle bus to the beach on the hour, with the last bus going at 5pm. The return shuttle runs at half past and on the hour, with the last return at 5:30pm. Beach staff are excellent — they regularly come to sunbeds offering drinks, and food at the beach is topped up quickly and efficiently. When asking about a late checkout due to travelling with a baby, we received a fairly snotty response stating it was subject to availability and could not be checked until the day itself. No alternative options or considerations were offered, which was disappointing given we are travelling with a young child. Housekeeping is very good — the room is always clean and tidy. There is a gym which is located on a top floor and the view looks great for travellers wanting to gym on holiday 😉 One thing to note for UK travellers is that there are very few British guests, with the majority of guests being Russian. Meaning not other guests speak English so it is harder to communicate. Overall, despite the issues raised, I would return to this hotel and would recommend it to others — just be mindful of the points above.
