Clean, friendly and the safest we have felt in Egypt, this place is a haven for adults looking for a beautiful location, exceptional service and fab food. Beautiful views across the Red Sea and you can go with the amazing dive team (Osama is brilliant and having worked there 11 years, is knowledgeable and trustworthy!). Simply book the day before and once you finish breakfast, walk down to their shop just around from the pool for 0830 and the boat is there waiting for you! Dive with Ahmed you will not be disappointed! Food was top notch. Highly recommend the lady making fresh Egyptian bread each morning. Fabulous bar staff, I am not good at recalling all the names, but Ahmed stood out and I think another gentleman’s name was Elham. Ahmed at reception (bell hop) is great, excellent English and will help with any issue. Gamila restaurant was our favourite with chef Hany and manager Omar. Recommend the mixed grill! Very friendly and just ideal location. So yes, we booked before we left for another trip in October and can’t wait to sit down, enjoy the view and await a mojito!

Part one! My wife and I stayed here for ten nights. Check in was ok, but room 704 was anything but. Part one! My wife and I stayed here for ten nights. Check in was ok, but room 704 was anything but. We had upgraded, and booked a double superior room with a double bed and a single with sea view and a mini bar as described on the official Tui booking site. What we got was a tiny room (704) with two single beds. Bedside lights hanging off the wall. A bathroom sink with water still in it which wouldn't drain away. A wardrobe which couldn't be opened on one side and a miniscule balcony which couldn't sit two chairs side by side. A dirty mini bar and peeling paint work. Generally terrible. We had paid a decent amount to stay here and for a supposedly five star rated hotel, this was nothing but an insult. The reception staff were anything but reasonable and flatly refused to help or change our room!! We were gutted! After the intervention of the Tui rep the following day we were eventually moved to room 643 on the opposite side of the hotel. Part two. This room was a total contrast to the first one. Refurbished, clean, tidy, and with a fully functioning shower room. Apparently this was the only room on offer. Although it too had two single beds, our lovely housekeeper put the two together and couldn't do enough to make us feel as though we were eventually on holiday. Without doubt. Reception not included, the best thing about this hotel is the staff. from the gardeners to the bar, restaurant, pool, beach, waiters, chefs, animation team, everyone was amazing. Happy, smiling, polite, helpful in every way. Food is very good and varied with plenty of choice. The beer is ok, but the wine is not so good. Generally, normal all inclusive options. Pool area is very clean (as is the whole complex) and the beach area is kept spotless. Towels for the beach/pool provided and changed as often as you require. A great idea is, if you put up a small red flag on your parasol the trip selling guys have to leave you alone. These flags are available from the towel bar. It gives you an uninterrupted day of relaxation. Overall, this is a nice hotel in a good location with the Marina only a half hour stroll away. BUT....Room allocation is a lottery and if you're unlucky, don't expect a quick fix. It completely spoilt the start of our holiday. And for that reason alone, they won't be getting any of our money a second time!

Overall a great holiday Food excellent Staff excellent Sleep excellent Animation is not for everyone. Why put shows on when restaurant is open. This causes everyone trying to get dinner and then a seat for the show. Normally shows start when restaurant closes. Room was tired in need of renovation.… more

Overall a great holiday Food excellent Staff excellent Sleep excellent Animation is not for everyone. Why put shows on when restaurant is open. This causes everyone trying to get dinner and then a seat for the show. Normally shows start when restaurant closes. Room was tired in need of renovation. Renovation being undertaken on floor 2 did not know this until we arrived. Also the pool side of the hotel behind there are 2 bulldozers rock breaking 12 hours a day .
